Howard Music is a family business making high quality musical instruments since the early 1970's

We have been based both in Ireland and England, but are now in Sheffield in England.

The instruments we produce are primarily used in Celtic music although low whistles are used in quite a few traditions.

We have endeavored to make quality instruments and also be innovative because we are working in a living tradition. Our motto is " It is Traditional to Improve"
